我对最近一些事的看法（指法国挺藏）

What has been happening recently has quite saddened me, and changed my view on many things...

近段时间所发生的事使我感到很悲哀，并且使我对很多事的看法都改变了。

First of all i never was involved too much in politics... Never voted in France to elect a president because there was nobody i really liked and wanted to see as president....
    首先，我从不关心政治：从没有在法国总统选举中投过票。因为对于以前的总统，没一个是我喜欢的，我也不想看到他们坐总统的位子。

Regarding the Olympics and the Tibet issue, i think it is very wrong for the westerners to stick their nose once again where they shouldn't, to always try and fix other's problems which sometimes are not even problems is just the western way of doing things ... I dont think i need to mention anyone in particular, you get the picture. Having spend many years in Asia i can undersand both cultures at least decently, and i think it is wrong to get involved in someone else's business like this.

关于奥运和西藏问题，我认为西方人这样做是错误的：他们再次干预他们不应该干预的事，总是是想试着解决一些有时根本就不是问题的问题——这就是西方人行事的作风。我想我不需要特别指明是谁，大家都能想象得到。在亚洲待了几年后，我至少能够端正地去理解东西方的文化，我认为如此去干涉他国事务的做法是不正确的。

A lot of people in the west think they are doing the right thing by going out and saying "free tibet", but truth is, they know nearly nothing about what the situation is in tibet. Everyone has different opinions regarding this matter and people tend to hate too easily people who have a different opinion than them, i think it is wrong, it will just lead us all to more anger and fighting.

很多西方人认为他们上街游行和大喊“(禁语)”是对的，其实事实是，他们对西藏的情况几乎一无所知。每个人都对于此事都有着不同看法，然而人们太易于去憎恨与他们意见相左的人。我认为这是不对的，（因为）这只能给我们带来更多的愤怒和争斗。

I'm not particulary interested in the Olympics itself, i never watch it on TV, or very briefly... But this event should mean more than just some games, it's supposed to show that the world can compete together, country against country, peacefully. But now look what it has turned into... A fiasco...or a political debate. It's not as it should be.

我不是对奥运本身特别感兴趣，也从没通过电视看过奥运，或者简讯。但是它不应该仅仅意味着比赛，它应该表达出世界，国与国之间，可以和平竞争。但是看看它现在变成什么样子了！大惨败？政治口水大战？它本不应该这样的！


Many Chinese seem to hate French people lately in China, this really saddens me... A few ill intentioned people attacking the torch in France doesnt represent a whole country at all. Generalizing is one of the worst thing one can do. Just because some bad people have done some bad things in a country doesn't mean everyone is bad.

最近很多中国人似乎恨上了法国，这使我感到很悲哀。少数有不良企图的人在法国袭击了奥运火炬（传递手），并不意味着全部法国人都是这样的的。一概而论是人类可做的最糟糕的事之一。【下句Tod出现句子结构错误】仅因为一些坏人在某国做了某些坏事，并不能说明（那个国家）每个人都是坏的。


Boycotting the Olympics because of a political issue that has nothing to do with the event itself is plain stupid in my opinion... And i'm embarassed that the French president suggested it in the first place. A friend of mine student in Tsin Hua share my beliefs aswell.. And is really annoyed by all those happenings.. Because now people think of the French as really bad people.

以我来看，拿与奥运根本无关的政治问题去抵制奥运是明显的愚蠢。并且我也对法国总统身先士卒地支持（禁语）感到羞愧难当。我清华的一个朋友与我看法一致，也对目前所发生的事感到很烦恼。因为现在中国人把法国人看成坏人了。

I have been living in China for more than a year now and i love it here or i wouldn't have stayed that long for sure. I do love my home country France aswell. So i feel particulary bad that there is some tensions between the two countries, i hope everyone can be at peace and can be friends !

我已在中国住了一年多了，喜欢在这里的生活，否则我也不会住那么久；我当然同样喜欢我的祖国——法国。所以我对两国之间的紧张气氛感觉极其不好，只是希望所有人都可以和平共处、成为朋友！
